DURGAPUR, April 28. - If the Left Front returns to power it'll bring home victims of political violence who were chased out of their villages in eight police station areas in Midnapore, Mr Jyoti Basu said here today.

"Only a few dacoits belonging to the Trinamul Congress won't be allowed to return. There are several cases against them." About 5,000 displaced CPI-M workers are now staying in camps, he said.

Mr Basu was speaking at a poll rally, attended by about 15,000 people, at Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Ground.
