Scott Waddle, the former captain of the USS Greeneville submarine. The families of the missing and rescued crew, students and teachers at the Uwajima Fisheries High School had demanded Waddle be court-martialed to clarify the cause of the Feb. 9 sinking of the training ship after it was hit by the submarine.
