NEW YORK -- More than any single product or color or style trend, what impressed at the latest Domestics Week in New York was the devotion that vendors are paying to a single demographic group: 11-to- 14-year-old girls, an age group better known as tweens.
Naturally, the usual considerations were addressed: In terms of colors, golds, deep reds and blue greens were strong, but they were frequently mixed in tone, such as what looked blue was called green and vice versa.
