2001 APR 12 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Women who receive no prenatal care are more than seven times as likely to die from complications of pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure) and eclampsia (seizures linked to high blood pressure) as women who receive any prenatal care.
This finding was reported in a study in the April 2001 issue of Obstetrics & Gynecology by researchers at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
