Lucky First World Communications has landed another tenant to take over the company's lease at 466 Townsend St., despite the downturn in the economy and the consolidation in the telecom field.

First World Communications had planned to launch operations in San Francisco from the third floor of the building, a 41,200-square-foot space.

First World's launch was delayed because the building was a year behind schedule on construction. In the end, the company chose not to enter the San Francisco market.
