Poll: Koizumi top choice by LDP local members Yomiuri The survey shows Ryutaro Hashimoto, state minister for administrative reform, is behind Koizumi by a small margin. Half of the respondents said they would vote, or had voted, for a candidate who is in favor of expanding fiscal spending to prop up business and to jump-start the economy.
