Promoting enchanting Thailand.(Songkran Water Festival at The Mines Shopping Fair)
A SMALL part of enchanting, beautiful Thailand is now being showcased at The Mines Shopping Fair as it celebrates the Songkran Water Festival Malaysian style, together with the Thai Fair 2001.
Tugged with buckets of water, water guns and lots of water splashing, the Songkran Water Festival is celebrated annually by the Thais to commemorate the Thai New Year.
Co-organised with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Office of Commercial Affairs Thailand and Happening Events Sdn Bhd, the Thai Fair 2001 features a Thai Food and Fruit Festival as well as a consumer goods promotion.
