Cosmo readers dish details about fights with their fellas that led to romantic--and sometimes racy--reconciliations.

"I love my boyfriend, but used to get the feeling that he didn't listen to me. Once during an argument, I accused him of not paying attention to howl felt. To prove my point, I told him I knew everything about him--including his likes and dislikes--and I challenged him to name mine. My boyfriend remained mute during the argument, then headed home. I was furious but sad as well, since I was sure this was the end of our relationship. The following night, there was a knock on my door. When I opened it, I found my boyfriend holding a bag of Thai takeout along with my favorite magazine and candy bar and a carton of cherry ice cream. All my preferred stuff! He'd found the perfect way to prove that he had been listening all along. Now we're approaching one year together, and I'm a lot more secure and appreciative of my guy."

--Rachel, 25, travel agent

"One night last winter, the weather was supposed to get really ugly, so I made plans to pick up my boyfriend, Stephen, from work and head over to his house before the snow really started coming down. As I was leaving to get him, Stephen called to tell me that he was working late to help a guy out. I blew up at him, saying he always considered everyone's needs but mine and now I would not be able to see him because it had begun hailing and snowing even harder. We kept fighting until I finally hung up on him. As soon as I slammed down the phone, I regretted it, but it was too late. I tried to call him back but could not get through--the weather was messing up cell phone reception. So I drove 20 miles on an ice-slicked highway with 30-mile-per-hour winds to get to him. He was shocked when I showed up and so relieved that I had survived the trip that the fight was immediately forgotten. When we finally got to his place, we had the best make-up sex ever."

--Andrea, 24, store manager

"My boyfriend, Ralph, and I had been together for three years when we started fighting over the stupidest things. I felt like we needed a break, so I moved out of our apartment. Just as I signed a year's lease on a new place, he called me to apologize, saying that he wanted me to move back home. I forgave him, but as much as I wanted to live with him again, I had already committed to the new place and didn't know how to get out of it. A few days later, he asked for the spare key to my apartment because he wanted to have something delivered to it--he called it a housewarming gift. I gave him the key, and while I was at work the next day, he moved all my stuff back to our old apartment. Then he picked me up that evening and started to drive in the opposite direction of where I lived. I asked where he was going, and he said he was taking me home! It turned out he had found someone to sublet my place and worked the whole thing out with the landlord. We're roomies once again, and I couldn't be happier."
