(CBI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., (Japan) have entered into a functional genomics collaboration for drug discovery. Immusol's gene inactivation technology (Inverse Genomics) will be used to support Chugai's discovery and validation of drug target genes relating to cancer metastasis to inhibit the spread of cancer.
