EUROPEAN RUBBER JOURNAL: Polish SR firm Dwory needs strategic investor.

Dwory SA, the only synthetic rubber producer in Poland, aims to find a strategic investor to help the company fulfill its long-term plan, including the upgrade to solution-polymerisation technology and production of polybutadiene.

The rubber, latex and polystyrene producer also claimed that it is not negotiating with Kaucuk SA of the Czech Republic to jointly produce rubber.

Presently, 24% of the company is owned by the Polish government, 15% by small shareholders and the remaining 60% is in the National Investment Funds.

The company's rubber plant in Oswiciem, Poland, produces 100 tonnes/y of SBR, high styrene SBR and nitrile rubber. …
