'Cong-Trinamul tie-up move opportunistic'.

KOLKATA, March 22. - Mr Anil Biswas, CPI-M state secretary, today described the move by the Congress and the Trinamul Congress to come together to fight the Left Front as "a politics of unprincipled opportunism".

"Such alliance by the Opposition has no meaning for us, even though we have been cautioning our party men against being complacent about our showing in the coming Assembly poll," he said.

"The whole exercise is devoid of the minimum principles of politics. The two parties are interested only in clinching an opportunistic seats deal. An alliance or a front can't be formed about 40 days before the poll as is being done. The Left Front is the product …
