UBBASIC SPEAKS ALL LANGUAGES

With all the talk about Data General's impending move into UNIX, it may come as a surprise to many readers that Business BASIC is already operating under UNIX in scores of European installations on a wide variety of hardware. It is also operational on MS-DOS and MS-DOS networks.

This has been made possible with Transoft's UNITRAN family of portability products. Transoft has now gone one step further and developed a new multi-environment BBASIC look-alike called Universal Business BASIC (UBB).

UBB is compatible with BBASIC, but includes a variety of advanced features such as windows, hot key interrupts, intelligent help and scalled decimal arithmetic. UBB accommodates much larger programs (1MB+), more line numbers (65,000), more variables (65,000) and more channels (256) than BBASIC. Its similar look and feel to BBASIC makes training a non-issue.

Written in C for maximum portability and performance, UBB does not require any special boards or place any restrictions on target hardware. Your DG BBASIC programs will …
