Cosmo readers share the super-heartwarming ways their beaus banished their blues.
"My guy was in California for six weeks on a long business trip, and we missed each other terribly. I was reading an issue of Cosmo on the phone to him one night and came across a quiz about how to tell if your boyfriend trusts you. I started to tease him because he had never done any of the things mentioned in the quiz, like lend me his favorite shirt or the keys to his apartment or car. Two days later, I received an express package in the mail. He had sent me his favorite tee shirt, keys to his pad and his car, and a note that said 'I hope I pass the test now.' It brought the biggest smile to my face."

"I was depressed about gaining some weight and wanted to join a gym to shed the pounds. But I had just lost my job and had to take a lower-paying gig for the time being to make ends meet, so I couldn't afford it. Then one evening, I came home from work and found membership paperwork to the sports club in town. My guy had gone out during the day and enrolled both of us. He told me that he thought I looked beautiful the way I was, but if I felt unhappy about my weight, then we would get in shape together. It was the most thoughtful thing that he could have done."
Kimberly, 26, telemarketer
"Because of a never-ending project at work, I couldn't join my girlfriends for a weeklong vacation in Aruba, I was so disappointed and moody that whole week because I kept thinking of all the fun that I was missing out on. I stopped by my boyfriend's place on Thursday night, and he told me that to cheer me up, we were going on a short trip the next weekend. He took me to his grandparents' 1920s farmhouse in Vermont, and since they were away, we had the whole place to ourselves. He made me breakfast in bed every morning and cooked amazing dinners at night. Needless to say, he put me in a much better mood."
Rebecca, 25, nurse
