2001 MAR 15 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- For a woman delivering a baby in the breech (leg-first) position, the likelihood that she will undergo a vaginal as opposed to a cesarean delivery may depend on the type of hospital where she gives birth and her ethnicity.

A review of over 10,000 breech deliveries in California was published in the March 2001 issue of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Authors were Kimberly D. Gregory, MD, MPH, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, and colleagues.
