Research firm plans to add 120 jobs by 2002

Encouraged by the success it has enjoyed locally during the last two years, international market research firm Frost & Sullivan Inc. has plans on the drawing board to hire an additional 120 people in San Antonio by mid-2002. The company currently has 180 employees in the San Antonio office.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based company is also viewing the city as fertile ground to launch new research groups within its global marketplace. It already has an anchored presence in Silicon Valley and New York. But the firm's executives are also weighing whether vacant positions along both coasts can be eliminated in order to locate those positions in San Antonio. …
