Five industries drive Greater Boston's economy and account for more than half of all jobs in our region.

These leading industries--financial services, health care, high technology, education and consulting, and the visitor industry--are Greater Boston's economic lifeblood, attracting billions of dollars to our region and providing the diversification that will help us withstand an economic downturn.
