The mobile phone network One2One has appointed Claydon Heeley Jones Mason to handle its direct marketing.
Claydon Heeley won the 8 million [pounds sterling] account after a pitch against three other agencies. One2One previously used WWAV Rapp Collins but decided to review its position late last year. WWAV did not repitch for the business.
One2One, the smallest of the UK's four mobile networks, was thought to favour moving the account into a smaller agency, but opted for Claydon Heeley after its strategy emerged as the strongest.
Nigel Jones, chief executive of Claydon Heeley Jones Mason, said: "The pitch was all about strategy for One2One over the next four or five years in the changing telecommunications market."
