PowderJect Pharmaceuticals Plc (PJP) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, PowderJect Vaccines, Inc., announced the initiation of a clinical trial designed to support the development of a DNA immunotherapeutic to treat hepatitis B.
The study is sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline as part of the major collaboration with PowderJect in the field of DNA vaccines.
The trial, which involves 24 healthy volunteers, is designed to evaluate a range of different vaccination parameters.
