Destiny's New Direction

In the past nine months, Destiny's Child has lost and replaced half its lineup, had a lawsuit filed by a former member, and shrunk from a quartet to a trio. Then things got worse--Kelly broke two toes and had to sing perched on a stool instead of singing and dancing with the other members, Beyonce and Michelle, Meanwhile, Beyonce's sister, Solange, a backup dancer for the group, performed in Kelly's place. Insiders say Kelly was upset by the replacement since she supposedly feels threatened because many consider Beyonce to be the group's true star. A rep for the band claims Kelly wasn't at all bothered. "It gave her a chance to show off her voice," the rep said.

Andre Agassi knows how to travel in style. The tennis star recently flew to Saint Martin--without main squeeze Steffi Graf--to stay at the very exclusive La Semmana resort on the Caribbean island. But it wasn't the posh resort that did the pampering--it was the airport officials. When Agassi landed, he was allowed to skip the long line at customs and instead have his passport examined in private (on a small plane that was on the runway, not even the one he flew in on). Then, to add to his convenience, his limo picked him up on the runway so he would be able to avoid the crowds, Must be nice!
