Are You a Fun and Fearless Female?
Welcome to our fifth annual Fun Fearless Female Awards issue. Every year, we honor the women we find absolutely amazing in entertainment and culture. You'll get to read all about this year's spectacular group on page 177.
Since you're a Cosmo reader, it's more than likely that you're a Fun Fearless Female yourself--it's a self-selecting process! Maybe you were born feisty, or perhaps your sense of daring developed over time as you came to realize that good things happen to girls with gumption.
I asked some of our readers to share with me their fun, fearless accomplishments, and I think you'll get a kick out of their exploits--I did. You might even find some that will inspire you enough to let your own hair down.
"My friends and I are tennis fanatles and were dying to see hottie Pete Sampras play in the U.S. Open. We didn't have tickets, but we thought we could score some from a scalper. Once we got to the stadium, we found out there were none to be had. In a rash and bold move, all three of us clambered over the fence and ended up getting excellent seats, meeting some of the players, and even cozying up to Mayor Rudolph Giuliani for a photo!"
