TOKYO, Mar 1 Asia Pulse - NEC Corp. (TSE: 6701) has reached an agreement with its archrival Cray Inc. to supply supercomputers to the U.S. firm on an OEM basis, the company announced Wednesday.
The agreement also includes a marketing alliance and the purchase of US$25 million in preferred shares without voting rights from Cray, or about 7 per cent of the U.S. firm.
