MANILA, March 1 Asia Pulse - Bayan Telecommunications Inc. (BayanTel) and the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), in a joint initiative supported by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), have signed a service level agreement aimed at resolving issues pertaining to operations and maintenance as well as facility provisioning.
Two documents were signed defining both companies' Technical Operations Escalation Procedures and the interconnection Facilities Provisioning Procedures.
At the signing ceremonies, DOTC Undersecretary Agustin R. Bengzon and representatives from the NTC highly commended both companies for this initiative and expressed their intention to endorse the agreement as an industry standard.
Both procedures will soon be accessible online through the NTC website.
