SEOUL, Mar 1 Asia Pulse - The government named Wednesday Yoon Byung-chul, 64, president of Hana Bank, as chief executive officer-president of the financial holding company scheduled for opening in April.
Deputy Chairman Jung Keun-yong of the Financial Supervisory Commission said of the two candidates recommended by the Personnel Selection Committee - Yoon and President Lee Kyung-jae of the Industrial Bank of Korea, Yoon had been picked for his experience and personality.
Yoon will be formally elected to serve as chief executive officer (CEO) of the holding company for three years in a shareholders meeting slated for March 12.
