NEW DELHI, Feb. 27. IN a last-ditch effort to persuade the Government to amend the proposed guidelines for direct-to-home (DTH) broadcasting, members of the India Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) met senior officials of the nodal Information and Broadcasting Ministry, mainly to seek a relaxation in the 20 per cent cap on broadcasting companies.

Sources in the Ministry said that officials of IBF, the industry body for the broadcasting sector, had made a presentation because the industry was not too happy with the cap on broadcasting companies.
