I read today that local government officials from Ehime demanded a direct apology from the United States for the accident between the USS Greeneville and the Japanese training ship.

Did the government of Japan ever apologize for the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Rape of Nanking, the Bataan Death March, the murder of allied prisoners of war, the slave labor Japanese companies made allied prisoners of war perform during the war? Something to think about when Japanese demand apologies from the United States.
