The Reforma Mentoring Committee has named four mentors and Spectrum Scholar proteges to take part in the first year of the Reforma/ALA Spectrum Latino Mentoring Program, according to Maria A. Champlin and Judith Valdez, committee chair and co-chair, respectively. Reforma is the National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking; the Spectrum Initiative is ALA's scholarship program for minority students seeking graduate library degrees.
