Intira, MegaPath scale back local operations, lay off 30.(Brief Article)

Intira Corp. and MegaPath Networks Inc., two tech companies with ties to the Roberts twins, are scaling back their local operations.

The companies are laying off a combined 30 people, sources said.

Intira, a data storage and online software applications provider, was founded by Tim Roberts, who left the company in 1999 to launch the now-defunct Broadband Infrastructure Group. Later that year, Intira moved its corporate headquarters from St. Louis to Pleasanton, Calif.
