BAYLOR TO IMPLEMENT EASY SOFTWARE'S IMAGING SOLUTION.

Easy Software, Great Valley, Pa., a leader in data archiving and document management solutions for the SAP(TM) R/3(R), Lotus Notes, and corporate imaging markets, has announced that it will implement an enterprise-wide document archiving and imaging solution at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

"We needed a compelling data archiving and imaging solution to help manage our documentation in support of SAP transactions. By keeping the imaging function at the college instead of relying on an outside vendor, we anticipate a reduction in costs and opportunities for increasing efficiencies," said Jenifer Jarriel, CIO for Baylor College of Medicine. "Documents will be scanned directly into the system, routed electronically for approval, stored in EASY ARCHIVE, and made immediately available for fast retrieval."

Baylor has been running on SAP R/3 version 4.0b since July 1999 in a college-wide implementation. Over the past year, the database has grown by more than 138 Gigabytes, and is still rapidly expanding.
