Big reimaging deals for oil firms on hold

With 40 years in the lighting and signage industries, Robert Ready is philosophical about riding out the ups and downs of serving large oil companies.

"But I've never witnessed anything this size," said the chairman, president and CEO of LSI Industries Inc.

Three large mergers in the oil industry have joined BP, Amoco and Arco as one enterprise, Exxon and Mobil as another, and Shell and Texaco as a third.
