Russia's production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is rising after years of stagnation. But domestic demand could swallow incremental production, threatening to restrict export growth. In this special report on the country's LPG industry, Argus looks at the leading producers and their main export markets

Russia's LPG industry is climbing steadily out of a 10-year period of stagnation. The country's LPG production was up by 26pc in the first 10 months of last year, with average daily output set at around 20,700 t/d (7.55mn t/yr). LPG production growth from gas processing plants (GPPs) outstripped production gains at Russian refineries and petrochemical plants.
