ORLANDO -- Tom Veit hasn't taken a day off in a long time. He works daily from 7 a.m until 10 p.m. -- far from banker's hours.

Then again, Veit, the Orlando Rage's burly general manager, admits this is his first job where "the boss can kick my butt."

That boss would be Vince McMahon, owner of the World Wrestling Federation and the XFL.

But the real reason for the long hours isn't McMahon's muscles. It's because the opening kickoff for the Orlando Rage, the area's XFL team, is right around the corner.
