Put your hands together once again for another, one-off, Private View in which John Salmon lives up to his reputation as one of those creatives in whom the tenets of good advertising are indelibly written.

It's quite a few years since I did one of these and it's nice to be invited back.

This week's most memorable item is a Tic Tac(2) commercial that features a height-disadvantaged man of Afro ethnicity who gets a tall, white girl on her knees by giving her a Tic Tac. The line is: "small and cool." I don't know what the girls will think, but I like it.

Camilla Palmer enjoyed the Carlsberg(4) spot enough to choose it for her Pick of the Week. She said: "I wasn't quite sure what the point was but as soon as I saw the lads' fantasy builder's bottom girl ... I laughed out loud." I couldn't have put it better myself.
