TEPCO not to freeze N-power plant plans Yomiuri Tokyo Electric Power Co. President Nobuya Minami said Friday his company would not freeze construction of four planned nuclear power plants in Aomori and Fukushima prefectures. "The construction of planned nuclear power plants will not be included in the planned construction freeze. We will build them as initially planned," Minami said at an ad-hoc press conference Friday. Minami's statement came a day after TEPCO announced that it would consider freezing the planned construction of new power plants for the next three to five years, including nuclear power plants.
