KUALA LUMPUR, Mon. - Dewan Muslimat Pas is finalising a working paper on a proposal for its women candidates to contest in the next general election.

Its chief Senator Jamilah Ibrahim told the New Straits Times that the working paper would be submitted to party president Datuk Fadzil Mohd Noor and the party's majlis syura by next month.

"We have taken a long time to prepare the proposal as many things had to be considered and we had to listen to our members' views at all levels, including the grassroots."

"We have to be careful and cannot rush into it." …
