Poland to shortlist Gdansk bidders

The Polish government plans to shortlist bidders for a 75pc stake in the 90,000 b/d Gdansk refinery later this month, according to Nafta Polska, the body responsible for oil-sector privatisation. Nafta Polska declined to name the bidders but observers believe it includes Hungary's MOL, seen as favourite to buy the stake (FSUE, 15 December, p9).
