FORT WORTH -- United Rentals Highway Technologies plans to consolidate two Tarrant County locations into a new build-to-suit office/warehouse at Riverbend Business Park.
"We are increasing efficiency by moving under one roof," said Rob Odom, branch manager for United Rentals Highway Technologies, whose parent company is United Rentals Inc. (NYSE: URI).
Portland Industrial Development Ltd. bought land at 7200 Jack Newell Blvd. South, said Chuck Sutherland, a Dallas-based developer involved in the partnership. The partnership will. develop and own the buildings and lease them to United Rentals, he said.
The project consists of three buildings totaling 42,300 square feet on slightly more than 8 acres, Sutherland said. Construction is underway and should be completed by early summer.
