Here's a shopping list for another great year in the Valley.

If I were in charge of the next 12 months in the Valley, I would:

* Build the Cardinals their stadium in the best location and then call for a fair catch, which means the team gets the ball right on that spot but must immediately start hiring some players worth cheering for.

* By the way, put the stadium in the West Valley, assuming it's a tie game on the financials. Why? Picture what that high-growth area could look like three years from now, when the stadium would be finished.

* Declare a one-year moratorium on ownership changes in our radio market.
