KOTA BAHARU, Jan 21 (Bernama) -- Kelantan will receive an allocation of RM35 million to build computer laboratories in 100 primary and secondary schools in the state this year.

Finance Ministry Advisor Datuk Mustapa Mohamed said the Kelantan Education Department was now preparing the list of schools involved in the project.

"The move is important to enable students to be exposed early to prepare them for the k-economy (knowledge-economy)," he told reporters after chairing a meeting with heads of federal departments and agencies in Kelantan, here today.
