Not much, apparently. While we were summering, name changes were simmering. The venerable Robert Morris Association, formed in 1914 to share credit reports among member financial institutions, has a new name--Risk Management Association. RMA, with its Annual Statement Studies, has published comparative composite financial statement data and ratio analyses for more than 80 years. The Philadelphia-based organization was named for Robert Morris, the Declaration of Independence signer and primary financier of the Revolutionary War. (Morris spent three years in debtors' prison as a result of pledging his personal fortune to the war effort.) The 1999/2000 RMA Annual Statement …
