The Mediaeval Baebes have been dropped by BMG Classics following disappointing sales of the group's first album for the label, produced by ex-Velvet Underground member John Cale.

Undrentide failed to repeat the chart success of earlier Baebes' releases on Virgin Venture. It is believed that the group is discussing potential future recording projects with its American licensee Nettwerk.
