Non-rubber shoe imports up 9.6% in Sept. from '87 WASHINGTON (FNS) -- Non-rubber footwear imports climbed 9.6 percent during the month of September, although non-rubber imports for the year-to-date are down 3.1 percent, according to figures released last week by the Commerce Department.
Rubber and fabric shoe imports shot up 28 percent in September over the same month a year earlier.
