When George Babcock and Stephen Wilcox founded Babcock & Wilcox in 1867, they probably didn't know where Melville was located. But through the years, this international corporation's Melville facility has become one of the most important components of the overall organization.

Babcock & Wilcox Canada is the country's largest manufacturer of steam generation products and services. It has manufactured more than 230 nuclear steam generators and more than 800 fossil-fired boilers in over 40 countries.
