If you need the perfect gift for that person who has everything, perhaps you should consider a "magic" ring.

But if you're wondering how it really can be magic, consider the fact it already has granted a wish to a young, aspiring writer and provided $1,000 to a Valley school.

The "magic" ring currently is on display at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. To help benefit museum programs, the ring is up for bid at a silent auction being held through Dec. 17 at the museum's store in the Gerard L. Cafesjian Pavilion. Minimum bid is $1,850.
