Columbus-based Cranel Inc. will begin work on a $4.25 million expansion project in the next month that will add 75 workers and 45,000 square feet to its Gemini Parkway headquarters.

The work will move ahead after the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 65 percent, 5-year tax credit for the project on Dec. 4.

Cranel distributes computer equipment and services, including mass storage and document imaging, software and help desk operations. It has a service group for consulting, installation, integration and training.
