Pacific Dunlop's '88 after-tax net up 32.4% MELBOURNE, Australia -- Pacific Dunlop Ltd., parent of Revelations Shoe Corp., New York, reported an all-around excellent performance, particularly in its Electrical Distribution, Olex Cables, and Ansell International divisions, propelling 1988 after-tax earnings 32.4 percent over the 1987 figure.
Company officials noted in a prepared statement that for the fiscal year ended June 30, after-tax earnings totaled A$185.9 million, compared with A$140.4 million in 1987. Revenue for the period increased 36.4 percent to A$3,645 million from A$2,672 million in 1987.
