Developer plans residential tower at Allen Parkway site.
The 84-year-old' Gulf Publishing Co. building tops the list of sales this month. Austin-based, developer Simmons Vedder & Co. has put the site on. Allen Parkway under contract for purchase with plans for a high-rise residential tower.
The exact price tag of the property was not disclosed, but a Simmons Vedder official says it is in the range of $45 per square foot.
