Poser over Renong's debt restructuring exercise.

RENONG Bhd's debt restructuring exercise is now in question with the delay in the flotation of two of its units - Time dotCom Bhd and Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan Sdn Bhd.

The initial public offering of both companies are part of Renong group's plan to deal with its billions in debt.

PLUS is owned by United Engineers (M) Bhd and Time dotcom by Time Engineering Bhd - both under the Renong stable.

On Tuesday, UEM said it would not be possible to achieve the December target of PLUS' listing. It cited issues relating to the refinancing and valuation of PLUS which require more time to resolve.
