A light-fingered creative left last week's Aerial Awards with one piece of silverware too many. After the glittering presentation ceremony, less prominent creatives were shoved into an overflow room to watch proceedings via a TV link, and one of the Radio Advertising Bureau's "unique" table lamps went missing.
It seems that one guest, perhaps disgruntled at not getting a seat to hear Steve Henry's enthralling speech, walked off with the 200 [pounds sterling] lamp. The RAB is already hunting for the culprit. ...
