All hail, Captain SpiderCat, for he is the Lord, the Almighty, the Keeper of the Switch2 Faith. And if you ask him nicely, he might even be persuaded to mow the lawn for you.
Captain SpiderCat is the latest creation of the Switch2 presenter Reece and his platonic writing counterpart. Following hotly on the heels of the Edinburgh Festival creation -- "the worst mime artist in the world" -- Captain SpiderCat looks set to force the nation into a drastic re-definition of the term superhero.
He is without doubt the world's greatest superhero. Not least for the fact that he's both optimistic and realistic. Very realistic -- he has no specific skills or powers of any kind, nor any discernable masterplan. Needless to say, he fits right inhere.
"I'm not certain what I was supposed to do," Reece admits. "Cause trouble then stick around to help? Sharpen your knives?"
Dressed from head to toe in an outfit not too dis-similar from Superman's, Reece is differentiated by his eight arms and cat's whiskers. He recently appeared from nowhere while I was dining in a Charlotte Street hostelry and presented me with a spoon which, he declared ...
