Supply concerns spur gains

* Outright prices on all the grades gained more than $1/bl. Mildly-bearish stock data from the US and talk of more Opec output were unable to compensate for continuing concerns over tensions in the Middle East.

* Russian sour crude prices continued to charge upwards thanks largely to delays in loadings of October Urals. But traders' assessments of prices varied wildly, as evidence in the shape of physical trade was severely limited by the dearth of available cargoes.

* Confirmed supplies were negligible, as traders continued to wait for November loading programmes. The October programme was all but sold out before the week …
